FAQ - Weddings & Events

Planning & Preparation

How far in advance should we book?

Bookings are often made several months in advance, particularly for peak wedding seasons. That said, availability can vary, and it's always worth getting in touch to check dates, even if your plans are already underway.

How does the planning process work?

Music is planned well in advance of the event, with time taken to understand the flow of the day, the setting, and the overall atmosphere you're hoping to create. Guidance is offered where, helpful, while leaving space for your preferences and ideas.

Can the music change on the day?

Yes. Timing and energy naturally shift over the course of an event, and the music adapts accordingly. Flexibility is built into the approach so the day can unfold naturally rather than feeling tightly scheduled.

Music & Repertoire

Can we choose specific songs?

Absolutely. Song requests are welcomed and can be incorporated where appropriate. If you’re unsure what might suit certain moments, suggestions can be offered based on the tone and pacing of the day.

Do you only perform what's listed on the website?

No. The examples on the site offer a snapshot of style and approach, rather than a fixed setlist. Repertoire spans classical, contemporary, and acoustic arrangements, shaped to suit each event.

Can you learn a special song for our ceremony?

In many cases, yes. If there’s a particular piece that’s meaningful to you, this can be discussed during planning to see how it might be adapted for the occasion.

Setup & Logistics

Do you provide your own equipment?

Yes. All necessary equipment is provided, with setups adapted to suit indoor and outdoor spaces, intimate ceremonies, and larger celebrations.

How much space do you need?

Very little. Solo and small ensemble setups are designed to be unobtrusive and work comfortably within most venues without impacting the flow of the day.

Do you need access to power?

Power is helpful, but not always essential. This can be discussed in advance depending on the venue and setup requirements.

Location & Availability

Where do you perform?

Based in the Hunter Valley, NSW, with regular experience across vineyards, private properties, and venues throughout the region and surrounding areas. Travel beyond the Hunter Valley can also be discussed.

Do you work with venues and planners?

Yes. Coordination with venues, planners, and celebrants is welcomed to ensure timing and transitions run smoothly.

Booking & Next Step

How do we check availability?

You can enquire via the website with your date and a few details about your event. From there, availability can be confirmed and next steps discussed.

What happens after we enquire?

Once availability is confirmed, details are discussed at a comfortable pace — with no pressure — to ensure the music feels like a natural fit for your celebration.

If you have a question that isn’t covered here, you’re always welcome to get in touch — happy to talk things through.
