It begins with a relaxed conversation about the occasion — the setting, the atmosphere you’re hoping to create, and how music might sit within it.
Some people arrive with very clear ideas, others with only a general sense of feel. Both are equally workable.
From there, availability is confirmed and next steps discussed at a comfortable pace.
Planning & Preparation
Once booked, the music is planned well in advance of the event.
Time is taken to understand:

Song ideas and requests are always welcome, and guidance can be offered where helpful — particularly for ceremonies or key transitions — while keeping things flexible rather than over-scheduled.
This preparation means decisions aren’t left to the last minute, and the day itself feels calm and uncomplicated.
On the Day
On the day, the role is to be present and adaptable rather than drawing attention to the performance itself.
Timing and energy naturally shift during a celebration. The music responds to what’s happening as it unfolds — sometimes gently supporting the moment, and at other times stepping forward when the celebration calls for it.
Setups are designed to be unobtrusive, and coordination with venues, planners, and celebrants is handled quietly in the background.
A Single, Flowing Experience
Rather than treating each part of the occasion as a separate performance, the music is approached as a whole.
